External Transporter

Department: Food and NutritionSchedule: Part-timeShift: Day shiftHours: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Job Details: High School diploma or equivalent required. - 3 years of commercial delivery driving or similar experience required. - Current WY driver's license and clean driving record required.Position requires strenuous physical activity, including pushing and pulling of loaded hand trucks, linen carts and baskets, lifting heavy loads in and out of equipment, moving furniture and office equipment, walking, and bending. Must be able to lift various materials up to 50 pounds of capacity, from floor to chest level. Must have ability to be on feet all day. Must be able to operate Hospital vehicles.Transports FNS items, general supplies, pharmacy supplies, medical records, and linens, (clean and soiled), to all United Medical Center facilities. Supports all three UMC facilities with effective and efficient service when performing routine scheduled moves and specially scheduled functions. Picks up soiled linen, and assists in the laundry department as time allows. Performs other duties as assigned.
