District Sales Manager
The primary responsibilities of the District Sales Manager position include:
·Manage and lead your own staff of contracted newspaper delivery carriers in the Fox Cities area.
·Promote circulation growth in your assigned district through implementation of carrier sales/service and retention programs.
·Recruit, interview, qualify and contract independent contractor newspaper carriers.
·Implement strategies and programs designed to ensure that customer service complaint standards are achieved on the route and district level.
·Ensure goodwill between company and independent carrier force and ensure carrier compliance with contract terms.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will offer a college degree, Associate degree or equivalent management work experience, strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills, ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours including nights/early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed, and the ability to frequently lift 50 pounds. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment is required.
