Division#: 43-0020Division Name: Center for Employee DevelopmentJob Categories: TrainingJob Responsibilities: Working with Subject Matter Experts to design, develop, and implement technology-based training programs, simulations, and electronic performance support based on sound instructional systems design. Converting traditional training and presentation content to Web-based delivery format. Developing technology-based training design documents to include flowcharts, storyboards, and scripts. Developing instructional media to include static visuals, animations, digital audio, and digital video. Developing Web-based knowledge and skill assessments. Evaluating off-the-shelf technology-based training and training development tools. Building strong relationships with training sponsors and participants. Performing other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimal travel required - 5-10%.Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; graduate degree in instructional technology, instructional design, computer-based training, or related field preferred. Two to five years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing e-learning programs. Proficiency in Macromedia Flash and other instructional media development applications, such as Captivate and electronic help systems. Experience working with Learning Management Systems - experience in .NET platform a plus. Experience in audio and video recording and script writing. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and independently learn new software applications. Strong business writing skills.
