National Director for Collegiate Ministry

Founded in 1976, Prison Fellowship (www.pfm.org) is the world's largest Christian outreach to prisoners and their families. Over the years, Prison Fellowship has developed several successful programs primarily for adults to be engaged in volunteer ministry to assist prisoners and their families. Prison Fellowship has recently opened the doors for college students to become involved in this vital ministry and have embarked on a search to find a National Director for Collegiate Ministry to lead and expand this embryonic ministry, which will be based on college campuses across the United States.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a vital ministry! The National Director for Collegiate Ministry will be the primary leader, driver, developer, builder and resource person for PF's college ministry. Candidates must have solid experience working with, understanding and discipling college age students and a strong desire to lead and guide them into ministry opportunities with prisoners and their families. Applicants must have experience being an integral part of leading, driving and growing a Christian-oriented regional or national ministry or organization; have demonstrated the ability to network and build collaborative relationships, preferably with other ministries, pastors, lay leaders and volunteers in local churches and other private and public organizations. Candidates must also have experience in the areas of program design and development, recruiting and developing volunteers and budget management.
