Bachelor's Degree required
Athletic Trainer certification (ATC) requiredIncumbent will provide athletic training services to selected professional, intercollegiate, interscholastic and recreational athletes of the Outreach Program and to patients of the Sports Medicine Clinics. Incumbent will maintain flexibility in work schedule with evening and weekend work expected.Education/Learning Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine or related field.
Desired: Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine or related field.Work Experience:
Desired: one year in high school or clinical setting.Skills/Knowledge:
Required: computer skills (word processing, data base, spreadsheet and presentation).
Desired: background in marketing/promotion or health education.Licenses/Certifications:
Required: certification by the NATA-BOC; state license if required for practice
Desired: Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification by NSCA or equivalent
