Our Systems Engineers are responsible for:
Designing, implementing, and supporting Linux, Solaris, Juniper/Netscreen Firewalls, F5 load balancers, and SAN based solutions.
Participating on a variety of project teams to integrate and deploy infrastructure.
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Internet technologies and sharing that knowledge with team members and business partners.
Developing and executing test plans and managing the test environment.
Provides problem resolution and root cause analysis as well as proactive reporting and analysis to support the infrastructure.
Using a combination of Open Source and commercial solutions to complete projects.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
3 or more years of Linux or Solaris Systems Administration experience in a production environment.
Experience with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS and/or SSH.
Experience working with Perl or Shell Scripting.
Ability to lift computer equipment up to 50 pounds several times a week.
Available to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours system maintenance.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to perform systems design, deployment, and support of Internet facing technologies such as e-mail systems, web servers, name servers, and application servers
Ability to perform reporting, analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as Operating System utilities and hardware diagnostic utilities
Ability to install and perform maintenance on server equipment located in a data center environment
Thorough knowledge of firewall and load balancer technologies
Thorough knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager or Veritas NetBackup
Thorough knowledge of HP Proliant and Sun SPARC hardware
