Key responsibilities include:
Managing a team of 10+ telephonic Care Managers in their efforts to coordinate treatment for our health insurance customers
Interviewing, training and mentoring new staff members as they are on-boarded
Ensuring workflow is handled effectively, and overseeing the daily staffing functions of the department
Assisting the staff with case questions or escalated issues when necessary
Holding team meetings
Managing various projects aimed at overall process improvement
Creating project plans, tracking project status and documenting all project work
Job Requirements:
Only licensed Wisconsin RNs will be considered for this role, and solid clinical experience in a hospital setting is a must. Management experience is also required. QA and process improvement experience is needed, and a background in managed care is preferred. Project management experience is essential, and and a history in data analysis/data management will be valuable. PC proficiency is essential. Candidates should have a BSN, and a Master's degree is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will thrive on change and innovation.
