A little about us:
Chinook Wireless is a new company, headquartered in Great Falls, that is operating digital wireless telephone service throughout Montana. We developed as a result of an acquisition of the wireless businesses and assests of both Blackfoot Communications of Western Montana and 3 Rivers Wireless of Central and Eastern Montana. Our new company will be implementing many extremely positive changes for our existing and potential customers over the next few months. We will continue to provide the finest local, positive and personal customer service to our current and future customers.

Chinook Wireless Switches From CDMA to GSM - 2006-05-23
Chinook Wireless has selected Nokia to build a GSM/GPRS/EDGE network throughout Montana, USA. Nokia is supplying the entire radio and core network, along with network services. The companies have signed a five-year supply contract covering equipment, network planning services, deployment services and Nokia Care services. Chinook Wireless will be deploying one of North America's first 3GPP Release 4 network architectures, using Nokia's mobile softswitch solution MSC Server System. Additionally, Nokia is providing a portfolio of services, including network planning, installation, integration, and testing.

"Nokia's GSM/GPRS/EDGE solution will enable Chinook to deliver state-of-the-art digital wireless services. With Nokia's support, we will provide a service that will greatly exceed our customers' expectations."

Nokia says that the GSM/GPRS/EDGE network will replace Chinook Wireless' CDMA network.

SUMMARY: The Store Manager is accountable for the successful operation of the retail facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor the attainment of sales goals set forth by Director of Sales.
The Store Manager is expected to perform at or above their monthly quota each month. If they fall below a three month rolling average of 90%, they are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination. Chinook Wireless reserves the right to change quotas for the Store Manager to levels deemed necessary to meet business needs.
Ensure all retail sales staff is trained on products, services, and procedures. Be able to present and sell products and services to prospective customers while attaining the sales goals.
Monitor the attainment of sales goals set forth by Director of Sales.
Initiate follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased from.
Provide customer service for existing customers. Such activities may include account research, explanation of equipment operation and executing warranty claims.
Maintain and monitor inventory of products and sales collateral for retail stores.
Overall responsibility for general upkeep and appearance of retail facility.
Develop and manage staffing schedules.
Supervise retail sales staff to ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
Participate in the development and execution of promotional activities.
Make every effort to stay current with changes and developments in the telecommunications industry.
Work effectively with entire team to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded at all times.
Be an active member in community functions (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Home Builder’s and civic activities that build customer awareness.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Company policies and procedures.
Full line of communications products and services offered
Basics of wireless technology.
General office practices and procedures.
Computer based programs (Excel, Microsoft office products).
Effective time and territory management practices.
Skill to:
Provide excellent oral and written communications.
Present well developed presentations.
Provide excellent customer relations.
Operate various office equipment such as: computer, 10-key machine, copy machine, fax machine and multi-line telephone.


General Company Requirements:
Must thoroughly understand the full line of communications products and services offered.
Two years of retail management is required.
Work independently and be a team player within the department and the organization.
Exhibits exceptional organizational skills and be a problem solver.
Must possess strong organizational skills
Communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines.
Work in a fast pace environment and prioritize multiple work assignments.
Provide excellent customer service.
Help promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
Occasional travel may be required.


Education and Experience:
High School education is required and a successful sales background is preferred.
