Our practice saves taxes on current filings, recover cash related to obscure provisions and optimize benefits related to state and local matters through our extensive service offerings. These include State Tax Controversies, Credits & Incentives, Income & Franchise Tax, Property Tax, Sales & Use Tax, Total State Tax Solutions, and Unclaimed Property.Tax Seniors have in-depth, first-hand experience in a wide range of industries.  They draw on expertise in accounting and taxation to provide compliance and consulting
services to corporate and individual clients. Tax Seniors identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates.  
Our Tax Seniors' primary responsibilities include overseeing complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries. In addition, they assume tax-planning responsibilities for our clients. Tax Seniors supervise assignments by the professional accountants serving as Tax Consultants and paraprofessionals.
As a Deloitte Tax Senior, all applicants must possess the following:
 Three or more years experience in preparing and/or reviewing sales and use tax returns, researching sales and use tax statutes and case law, and analyzing sales tax implications of specific transactions.
 Knowledge of managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence and billing.
 Excellent presentation and communication skills
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
